  • ZQuest students (potentially Roosevelt students)
  • ZQuest staff
Empathy Building:
  • Empathy Maps for the 2-3 stakeholders to show others point of view. (principal, teacher, student)

  • Inquiry / Need to Knows:
  •  Questions to answer:  What is a good/service?  What are needs and wants?  How do you make goods using Earth’s gifts?  What is an opinion?  Why is it important to learn about other people?
  • Use SS, writing and ELA curriculum to guide learning. 
  • Post learning on SeeSaw to see what they know and what they will need to know.

  • Small groups will use sticky notes to generate ideas
  • Draw solution ideas

Solution Building:
  • Pluses and Deltas protocol to narrow down ideas and dig deeper into good ideas.
  • Gallery Walk followed by Dot Voting

Critique and Revision: 
  • Provide feedback in the form of I like.../I wonder...
  • Bring in stakeholders to give feedback on ideas

  • Principal
  • Other classes at ZQuest!
Final Presentation:
  • Students will get voice and choice about what final product to do when they do based on dot voting results.
